How is the cardboard tube used?

The cardboard tube is easy to use. It is a cardboard support for the steamer, in order to fix your silk and wool fabrics.

Once your silk is painted and dry, it should be steamed so that the colors do not fade during the first wash.
To do this, wrap your silk around the carbboard tube in between layers of fixing paper. Finish the roll with 2-3 layers of fixing paper and tape the roll.
Put the roll in the preheated steamer and let it steam for 2 hours.
Let the oven cool before taking out the roll so as not to burn yourself.
Your color will then be permanently fixed.
