What is a gutta outlined silk?
The gutta printed scarve is a pre-drawn silk . It is ready to use . Printed silk is practical because the illustrations are already drawn on it with gutta which precisely delimits the edges. Thus, your color will not overflow on another. Color limitation is controlled.

Drying rings on my cushions:
The zipper closure being synthetic, the color will not penetrate this fiber and will be rejected on the silk.
To avoid any inconvenience when drying, it is advisable not to use too much paint on the flap covering the zipper and to absorb the excess paint on the woven part using absorbent paper.
Warning: Avoid painting too close to the gutta at the edge of the cushion, the overcasting threads may allow the color to pass into the other outline.

How to use the pre-gutta?
The pre-set is ready to use .
Just stretch your silk on your notched frame, using thumbtacks or claws.
Once your silk is stretched, you can move on to painting. You can use steamable paint or not.
Then let your creation dry and fix the colors with the oven for the steaming colors, or with an iron. (or microwave)
