H Dupont water-based gutta - 30ml Tube 100 ml - 100 Black

The gutta allow the creation of contours that will limit the spreading of silk within the lines. The colours will not get mixed with each other and your drawing will remain clear and precise.

It is possible to use the water-based gutta with both the Arasilk thermo-fixable range and the H Dupont dyes. The water-based guttas are ready for use.

The available packagings are: 30 ml tubes, 100, 250 or 1000 ml bottles. In addition to the colourless gutta, you will appreciate matte, metallic or pearlescent colours.

How to use the H Dupont water-based gutta?

On a stretched and clean silk (but not too stretched!) apply the gutta with a screw nib or a stycone pipette. For guttas packed in a tube, attach a pen directly to the tube for the ease of use.

Prefer an application in fine lines: the lines of a water-based gutta tend to widen slightly on the silk.

When the tip of your pipette is cut to the desired width, you can fill the bottle and apply the gutta precisely. It dries quickly, so you can start applying the paint a few minutes after drawing the seam outline. Be careful not to apply the paint too close to the gutta limit so as not to risk exceeding the limit.

It is not possible to remove the gutta with water. If you want to make the outline disappear, use the solvent-based gutta N.
