The H Dupont Classic range offers a wide range of colours to dye or paint wool and silk as you please. Bright and delicate colours excellent quality!

More info

All animal fibers such as wool or silk can be painted with Classic H Dupont dyes. You will be delighted by the intense and resistant colours on your clothes or scarves. They fear neither light nor washing.

When you put the colour on the fabric, it diffuses until the liquid runs out.

As the dye penetrates the fiber, there is no backside or frontside. The colour is uniform on all the silk. Once your achievement is painted, you can fix the colour in the steamer or in the microwave.
These dyes are involved in many techniques ranging from gutta to batik through salt watercolour.

The range is available in 85 intense tones.

colours are available in 50 (only 30 colours), 125, 250 or 1000 ml.

Pre-test the application and fix on a fabric sample.

How to use H Dupont dyes classic as silk paints?

Prepare your colours. Dilute them if necessary with H Dupont auxiliaries. These should be chosen according to the technique to be realized.

You can also use pure colours.

Your silk should be clean and free of any residue. Be careful because the silk paint diffuses itself as long as you leave it space.

How to use H Dupont classic dyes as dyes?

Prepare your dye bath with water. Add 1 to 5% white vinegar. Depending on the desired degree of intensity or the amount of fabric to be dyed, vary the amount of Classic dye between 0,5 and 15%.

How to steamfix the H Dupont classic dyes?

Once your achievement is dry to the touch, lay it between two pieces of paper fixer. Then wrap this paper on the cardboard roll.

In the receptacle provided for this purpose, pour distilled water. When your roll is ready, insert it into the steamer.

How to fix the Dupont classic in the microwave steamer?

Place in your microwave a container with a little water. Next to this one, place your dry realization.

Leave it in the microwave for 2 minutes, then let stand for one minute in the air. Put everything in the microwave a second time for two minutes.

Clean your tools with water.

Once set, your dye does not almost bleed, even during the first wash!
