Silk and wool dyes

  • Allow to color animal fibers such as silk or wool
  • Are acid based dyes. These allow to obtain the most vibrant colour results with excellent resistance over time, to light and to wash.
  • The dye penetraters into the fabric and is fixed by steaming. Both sides of the fabric are thus coloured.
  • The high concentration of colour allow you to use the dyes pure or diluted for all types of silk painting techniques.
  • A wide range of 85 different colours available.
  • These colors can be used for painting or dyeing
  • The dye bath consists of water, 1 to 5% of white vinegar and 0.5 to 15% of DUPONT CLASSIQUE colour depending on the desired intensity and the amount of textile to be dyed.
  • The fixing is done in a steamer or in the microwave
