Burnout Paste - Washing and Fixing Aids

Vinegar allows you to make single or double dye baths. Vinegar fixes your color to the silk.
Silkwash is a product used for the very first washing of silk. It does not prevent the excess dye from being discharged, but it does prevent staining of the colors one on the other. It is used during the first rinsing of the silk, after it has been dried.
Surfix also enhances the color on the first rinse.
As for Burnout Paste, it destroys the vegetal fibers such as cotton, linen and viscose while leaving the polyester and animal fibers (silk, wool) intact.
